Hospitals
If you come down ill, suffer an injury or just need a check-up, you have the state-of-the-art medical services you need right here in Oskaloosa.
Mahaska Health Partnership
Mahaska Health Partnership, originally known as Oskaloosa Hospital, was founded in 1907 after a campaign for a hospital was successful with $5,000 raised by the Women's Club and $10,000 raised by solicitors. Although the name and buildings have changed significantly from our beginnings, our dedication to quality rural healthcare remains the same.
The name Mahaska Health Partnership was adopted in 2000 to reflect the many healthcare agencies and professionals that partner together to serve the residents of Mahaska County. The patients of MHP benefit because they get the convenience of having all of their healthcare needs met in one location. The services available at MHP to care for you and your family include:
Mahaska Hospice recently celebrated their 25th anniversary as the first rural hospice in the state of Iowa.
