Welcome to the Oskaloosa is located in south-central Iowa in Mahaska County, just 60 miles southeast of Des Moines, along highways 163, 92, and 23. Oskaloosa is the county seat and the main city of commerce of Mahaska County and is surrounded by many wonderful smaller communities.
